Add a vintage feel to your summer essentials with the retro evil eye beach towel in Turkish cotton. Made from 100% Turkish cotton, this soft, lightweight towel absorbs well and dries fast, the perfect Turkish cotton beach towel for beach days, pool trips, and weekend travel.
The bold retro evil eye pattern is inspired by classic Turkish artisan design — a sun-and-eye motif with an artistic, boho character that sets this peshtemal towel apart. It packs thin, drapes beautifully, and works just as well as a poolside layer or travel wrap as it does on the sand. The expressive evil eye pattern makes it a standout piece that turns heads and holds meaning.
At 35" × 79" (90 × 200 cm), this boho beach towel is generous enough to use as a full wrap and light enough to carry anywhere. It gets softer with every wash and makes a distinctive choice for anyone who wants a retro evil eye towel that is both practical and visually bold. Get To Know YOUR Turkish beach towels
A Turkish beach towel, traditionally called a peshtemal, is a flat-woven cotton towel made on Turkish looms, finished with hand-knotted tassels. It has no terry loops, so it stays lightweight, folds flat, and dries much faster. Ours are woven in Turkey from 100% Turkish cotton.
Yes. Turkish cotton is a long-staple fiber, so it pulls in water quickly even in a thin weave. A new towel can feel crisp on the first use — after two or three washes the fibers open up and it becomes noticeably more absorbent and softer.
35.5″ × 79″ (90 × 200 cm) — longer than a standard 30″ × 60″ beach towel, so you can lie down fully without your feet in the sand, and still fold it smaller than a terry towel.
The flat weave has no loops for sand to lodge in, so a quick shake sheds most of it — which is why they're often called sand-free beach towels. Shake it out while dry for best results.
Machine wash cold on a gentle cycle and tumble dry low, or hang dry to protect the tassels. Skip fabric softener — it coats the cotton fibers and reduces absorbency. Wash before first use to soften the weave and set the color.
