Our queen and king cotton blankets are made to cover the whole bed — a hand-woven layer of 100% cotton that works as a lightweight blanket on warm nights, a cotton coverlet over your duvet in cooler months, or a finishing layer folded at the foot of the bed. Each bed blanket carries the same Mediterranean sensibility that runs through everything we make: understated, textural, made to be lived with rather than saved for show. Hand-woven in Türkiye using time-honored weaving techniques, they're naturally breathable and built to last.

Queen and King Blanket Sizes

Queen size blanket: 79 × 94 in (200 × 240 cm)
King size blanket: 78 × 118 in (200 × 300 cm)

Lay the longer side across the bed. On a queen bed, the 94-inch side leaves a generous drop on both sides; on a king bed, the 118-inch side does the same — an oversized king blanket that drapes like a full cotton bedspread rather than sitting on top like a throw.

Cotton Coverlets and Bedspreads

Flat-woven and lightweight, these work as a cotton coverlet or 100% cotton bedspread rather than a heavy comforter. Layer one over a duvet for a finished, hotel-style look, use it on its own on summer nights, or fold it at the foot of the bed as an accent. What are the dimensions of a queen size blanket?

Standard queen size blanket dimensions are around 90 × 90 inches. Ours measure 79 × 94 in (200 × 240 cm) — laid with the longer side across the bed, they cover a queen mattress with a generous drop on both sides. For every bed size, see our blanket size chart.

How big is a king size blanket?

King size blankets are usually around 108 × 90 inches. Ours are 78 × 118 in (200 × 300 cm): laid across the bed, the 118-inch side spans a king mattress and drapes well over both sides.

What is the difference between a coverlet, a bedspread and a blanket?

A blanket is a layer you sleep under for warmth. A coverlet is a lightweight top layer that covers the bed without reaching the floor, and a bedspread is larger, falling closer to the floor. Our flat-woven cotton blankets sit in between: light like a coverlet and generous enough to use as a bedspread.

Are cotton bed blankets good for summer?

Yes. Hand-woven cotton is breathable, so a cotton bed blanket works on its own on warm nights and layers easily over a duvet when the weather cools.

How do I care for a cotton bed blanket?

Machine wash on a gentle cycle with mild detergent, then tumble dry on low or line dry. A large-capacity machine is easiest for the king size. Avoid high heat and harsh chemicals, and your cotton blanket will stay soft and only improve with every wash.
