Some kimonos graze the knee. Ours reach the floor — and that changes everything. At Moa, every women's long kimono robe is designed with intention. Whether you are layering for warmth, dressing up a simple outfit, or relaxing at home, a floor-length kimono carries a quiet magic that shorter layers cannot match.
The collection spans flowing styles in cotton and linen, long-sleeve kimono cardigans for cooler seasons, and maxi kimono robes that fall to the ankle — each crafted to feel effortless and anything but an afterthought.
Long Kimono Robes & Cardigans
A long kimono is one of the most versatile pieces you can own. Reach for the evil eye kimono robe, the Turkish evil eye robe, the green evil eye kimono robe, or the evil eye bathrobe — layered over denim by day or a slip dress by night.
Animal Print & Statement Kimonos
For prints with personality, see the long leopard robe, the white tiger robe, the black tiger kaftan kimono, and the frayed festival kimono — long, flowy layers made to catch the light.
Colour & Beach Cover-Ups
From soft tones to easy beach layers: the pink evil eye robe, the blue evil eye kimono, the black evil eye cover up, and the cotton gauze beach cover up.
FAQs
What is the difference between a long kimono robe and a cardigan?
A maxi kimono robe flows with open sleeves and a relaxed drape — more of a statement layer. A long kimono cardigan sits closer to the body and works like a cosy outer layer. Both are beautiful in their own way.
How do I style a long kimono?
Pair a long kimono with denim and a tank for easy daywear. For evenings, drape a floor-length kimono over silk trousers or a slip dress. Belted or open, both work beautifully.
Which fabric is best?
Cotton and linen are ideal for everyday wear — breathable, soft, and easy to care for. For warmer months, a lightweight maxi kimono in cotton or gauze is perfect.
Are long sleeve kimonos suitable for summer?
Yes, in the right fabric. A long-sleeve kimono in lightweight cotton or linen offers beautiful coverage without overheating — ideal for evenings when the temperature drops.
What length should a long kimono robe be?
Our styles typically fall below the knee to floor length. For a dramatic evening look, an extra-long kimono that grazes the ankle is a beautiful choice.
